Des Moines Real Estate: Next Phase Advancement Plans New Project
Next Phase Development is expanding its footprint in Des Moines with a new project. The company acquired property for $1.37 million and plans to construct a multi-tenant building with flexible warehouse space. The firm also intends to relocate its offices to the new site upon completion.
According to Tamisiea, the forthcoming building at 6001 Thornton Ave. will feature Class A space with versatility. Des Moines city staff are currently reviewing the site plan.
The property, purchased from Airport Development LC, includes three parcels at 5900 and 6000 Park Ave.,and 6001 Thornton Ave. The parcels range from 2.7 to 3.4 acres.
Next Phase Development also intends to develop the 2.7-acre parcels at 5900 and 6000 Park Ave.into flexible warehouse space in the near future.
Tamisiea noted the area’s convenient access to Iowa Highway 5 and Interstate 235, adding that many of thier clients prefer the western part of Des Moines for its live-work-play surroundings. The transaction was recorded June 2.
