Venezuela Accuses US and Opposition of “Narcoterrorism” Following Explosives Seizure

Venezuela’s Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, recently detailed investigations into alleged terrorist activities, directly implicating the United States government and opposition leaders in orchestrating violence through connections with drug trafficking organizations. The announcement follows the seizure of a significant cache of explosives and communication devices in caracas.

According to Cabello, intelligence agencies have obtained “reliable evidence” detailing planned terrorist activities orchestrated by what he termed “Narcoban,” a reference to individuals involved in both narcotics trafficking and terrorist plotting.
