Deutsche Telekom Unveils ‘Melody of Europe’: AI Transforms Mobile Data into Music

Deutsche Telekom is using AI to turn anonymized mobile network data from ten European capitals into music. The premiere of the project, called the Melody of Europe, will occur on November 27, 2024, in Berlin during Network Day.

The data experts at Deutsche Telekom translated billions of data points from the mobile network into a melody. The project aims to make the network’s invisible connections audible. They collaborated with Hungarian Data Scientist Milan Janosov to achieve this.

Dominique Leroy, a Board Member of Deutsche Telekom, expressed excitement about the project. She highlighted how technology and creativity combine to symbolize unity. The Melody of Europe reflects the company’s mission to connect people and communities across Europe.
