Dibala needs consistent playing for the club to get a chance in the national team: Scaloni

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) – Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni said on Monday he had dropped superstar Paulo Dybala from the World Cup qualifiers. Scaloni said it was not because of injury but because of instability that Dibalak did not get a chance in the national team. “I need to be consistent in playing for the club to get a chance on the national team,” he said.

Paulo Dybala has been ruled out of Argentina’s squad due to injury or fitness issues. Dibala was not included in the squad for the matches against Venezuela and Ecuador. Dibala often plays a substitute in the Argentine team.

PSG, Tottenham and Manchester United have been linked with a move away from Juventus at the end of the season. Dibala has scored 115 goals in 202 appearances for Juventus. However, the star has not been able to perform well in recent times. Dibala, who has played 32 matches for Argentina, has scored just two goals and six assists so far.
