Singer adn actor Diljit Dosanjh is facing criticism for his decision to cast Pakistani actress Hania Aamir​ in the upcoming film, Sardaar Ji 3. The casting choice has ignited debate,particularly given the strained relations between India and‍ Pakistan. The film’s release date outside of India is set for June 27, but its release within India remains uncertain.

Amid the controversy surrounding his role, Dosanjh addressed the broader themes of ⁤art, peace,​ and international relations in a recent interview with Grammy President Panos A Panay. While not directly referencing the backlash, Dosanjh highlighted the unifying ⁢power of music. “Countries are at war, and we don’t have control over these things,” Dosanjh said. “But I beleive music is something that unites nations.
