A New Future for Gwangju: A City of ⁤Cutting-Edge Technology, Global ‍Culture, and Vibrant Living

Citizens of ⁤Gwangju, it is ​a pleasure to meet you. As I stand before you today, I am ⁣filled with ⁣a sense of excitement and hope ​for the future⁣ of this great‌ city.⁢ Since taking office ⁤as president, I have⁢ had⁣ the privilege of ‍visiting Gwangju every year on May 18th, ⁤and ‌I am ​always struck by ​the city’s resilience, determination, and passion for progress.

As we gather here today, I‌ want to share with you‍ my vision for​ Gwangju’s future ⁢– a future that is‌ built on the ⁤principles of innovation,⁢ creativity, and inclusivity. A future that harnesses the power of cutting-edge technology, global culture, and vibrant living to ⁤create a city that is truly ⁤world-class.

A⁢ Cutting-Edge Technology City

The world is rapidly changing, and the ​city ‍that leads ​in AI technology and development will be the protagonist of the future. Gwangju has already made significant strides in this ‌area, with the establishment of ​the Gwangju AI ​Academy and the construction of a world-class data center. As the central government, we will continue to support Gwangju’s leap ‌forward in the⁤ AI industry, with ​a focus on talent development, infrastructure, and innovation.

We will ⁤establish an AI gifted high school in Gwangju, which will serve as a‌ hub for AI education and talent development. We will also invest in the development of autonomous ​driving⁢ technology, with the goal of making ⁤Gwangju a leading​ city in the future mobility industry ecosystem.

A ⁤Global Cultural​ Hub City

Gwangju is ⁣a city with a rich cultural ​heritage, ‍and ​we want to build on this strength to create a global ⁤cultural hub city. We will innovate the‌ cultural ​and ⁤artistic infrastructure, strengthen ‌Gwangju’s international cultural and artistic‌ status,‌ and make the city⁣ a⁢ true Asian central city that leads cultural ‍and artistic exchanges.

We will invest ‌in the development of the Gwangju⁣ Biennale, the National Asian Culture⁢ Center, ‌and the ​Gwangju National Museum, and support the discovery of Gwangju’s own brand through the ‘Local 100’ project. We will also make Gwangju a city⁢ that is accessible and welcoming to ⁤visitors from around the ⁤world.

A Vibrant City Where Citizens Can ⁤Live Well

we want ‌to‍ create a city where citizens can live well, with access to quality education,‍ healthcare, and transportation.⁣ We will support ‌the construction of a ⁣complex shopping mall,⁢ improve transportation accessibility,​ and expand regional essential medical‍ infrastructure.

We will also⁣ prioritize⁣ the improvement of Yeongsan ⁤River water quality ‌and ​securing water quantity, to ensure that Gwangju citizens‍ have access to safe and ⁢reliable drinking water. Climate change is a pressing issue, and we must work together to address⁢ its impacts and create a sustainable future ⁢for our city.

I believe that Gwangju has the potential​ to become a truly world-class city, and I⁣ am committed to working with​ the citizens of Gwangju ‍to make this vision a reality. Thank you.
