The 2024 New York Korean American Film Festival (KAFFNY), which gathers and screens films made by Korean directors, will be held in Manhattan from the 13th to the 15th.
On the 13th, the first day of the event, ‘Christmas Lights’, ‘Zavet’, ‘Revolving Door’, and ‘Blue Hour’ will be held at the Hemmerdinger Screening Room (921 Lexington Ave. Rm 706 East Building) from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. A panoramic screening of short films such as ‘Fair’, ‘Roots and Wings Ep 2: Irene Yoo’, and ‘They Don’t Understand, Mom’ will be held.
Then, at the same location, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, directors of some films such as ‘Korean American Witches Society’, ‘KOI’, ‘Watches’, ‘Into the Emerald Sea’, and ‘A Family Guide To Hunting’ will film. The screening will be followed by a premiere screening with conversation with the audience.
Then, at 7pm on the 15th, the ‘Electric Dream Immersive Screening and Party’ event will be held at Sugar Mouse (47 3rd Avenue). At the event, works such as ‘Misericorde’, ‘New York Minute’, ”Situation’ – DudeGhetto Soundz Playz feat Danger’, ‘Cascade’, ‘In C, Too’, and ‘Circle’ are scheduled to meet the audience.
