“Docker Desktop 4.14” is released, so you can check resource usage etc. for each container on the GUI screen | CodeZine

On November 10th (local time), US Docker released the new version “Docker Desktop 4.14” of the container platform “Docker Desktop” for clients.

In “Docker Desktop 4.14”, by using the “Resource Usage” extension, it became possible to check the resource usage of all running containers on the GUI screen. There are four items that can be checked: processor time, memory usage, disk read/write data volume, and network input/output. From the screen where you can check the resources, you can also start, stop, and restart the container, and check the container log.

A new feature that will be introduced in the coming weeks is the ability to check container images for vulnerabilities. Analyze software dependencies in container images and notify you when vulnerabilities are found.
