The Yunlin Branch of National Taiwan University Hospital celebrated Doctor’s Day. During the event, 25 physicians received awards, including the “Outstanding Attending Physician Award” and various “Hot-Blooded Medical Awards.” The awards recognize exceptional dedication and contributions from medical staff.
Zheng Chunmei, the director of the Health Bureau, and Ding Rongzhi, chairman of the Yunlin County Medical Doctors Association, attended the event to commend the efforts of all doctors in safeguarding community health.
President Ma Huiming highlighted the hospital’s achievements, including a successful health examination week in August and a quality evaluation completed in November. He emphasized improvement across systems, processes, and service quality.
Director Zheng expressed gratitude towards medical workers who serve the community diligently. She mentioned ongoing development projects, such as new bilingual kindergarten facilities, to improve living conditions for residents and attract more medical professionals to Yunlin.
Chairman Ding noted the hospital’s 20-year commitment to Yunlin and its potential for training new medical talent. He envisions the Yunlin Branch becoming a key medical center in the region.
The award recipients included Dr. Chen Chongyu, Dr. Yang Shaoqi, Dr. Wu Zhenyu, and others from various departments. Additionally, the Senior Physician Award was given to retired physician Hong Shouhong for his years of selfless service.
The event highlighted the community’s appreciation for dedicated medical staff and their commitment to quality healthcare. President Ma remarked that effective medical care has led to success for the hospital and the residents it serves.
