Doosan Group Chairman Park Jeong-won, owner of the Doosan Bears, visited the 2024 season training camp and encouraged the players.

On the 28th, owner Park visited Hisamine Baseball Stadium in Miyazaki, Japan, where the players are training. Owner Park, who watched the team’s programs, including batting training, shook hands with Doosan coach Lee Seung-yeop, the coaching staff and the players individually to express their support, and gave encouragement money to captain Yang Seok-hwan.

Team owner Park said, “I have a good feeling about this season after seeing the team’s training in person,” and added, “Please complete the training camp without any injuries and play baseball like the Bears this season.” “I hope it will bring great emotion to the fans,” he said.

Team owner Park has great affection for the Doosan team and baseball, regularly visiting Jamsil Stadium even during the season. Excluding the period of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) pandemic, we have visited Doosan’s training camp every year to check the needs of the players and strive to provide the best environment.

Coach Lee said, “I am grateful to the club owner for visiting Miyazaki every year following Australia last year. The owner showing affection for the team like this is a great help in boosting the morale of the players.”

Team owner Park, who arrived in Japan on the 28th, plans to watch and cheer on the Goochun League match between Doosan and Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) Chiba Lotte Marines, which will be held at Sun Marine Stadium on the 29th.
