Doosan’s Yang Seok-hwan is congratulated by his teammates after hitting a home run in the third inning in the third inning against Daegu Samsung on the 5th. Daegu = News 1

Yang Seok-hwan (30), who has been reborn as Doosan’s main hitter, hit his first home run in three consecutive at-bats over two days, setting a new personal record for most home runs in a season.

Yang Seok-hwan hit a two-run homer in the 1st and 3rd innings against Daegu Samsung on the 5th. Starting with a three-run home run in the early 8th inning, which was the last at bat against Samsung the day before, Yang Seok-hwan made his first home run in three consecutive at-bats since his professional debut. Yang Seok-hwan, who started as first baseman on the 5th day, hit a two-run homer on the left against Samsung starting Baek Jeong-hyeon in the first two of the first inning leading 1-0. Also, in the early 3rd inning, when the team was reversed 3–4, he drew a two-point arch again on the left from 1 company and 1 base.

Yang Seok-hwan, who joined LG in 2014, was traded to Doosan just before the start of the season. Yang Seok-hwan, who is having the best season showing off his great instincts after transfer, has already recorded his 23rd home run of the season, surpassing 22 home runs in 2018 and achieving a new personal record. There are still 48 games left, so 30 home runs are possible. In the 8th inning against 5-5, Yang Suk-hwan took the lead in Doosan’s 6-5 victory by hitting a double in 4 at-bats (2 homers) and 4 RBIs. Third-placed Samsung finished their fifth consecutive win.

In Jamsil, where the first and second place match took place, KT defeated LG for two days in a row and played four games against LG and Samsung. KT won 11-0 thanks to the concentration of the other ships. From the match against Kiwoom (11-1) on the 3rd to the previous day against LG (11-1), he boasted 11 points for three days in a row, sprinting for three consecutive victories, leaving only one win on the 60-win record. Until last year, the probability of winning the regular season of the team that had won 60 games in the season reached 73.3% (22 out of 30). LG showed ups and downs with 3 straight losses after 6 consecutive wins and failed to catch the lead.

KT succeeded in the big inning, scoring 8 points only in the 3rd inning, which was 0-0, and divided the game early. LG’s shortstop Oh Ji-hwan, who caught Yong-ho Cho’s ground ball at first and third bases, which was made by leading batter Dohwan Huh’s mid-wall double and Shim Woo-jun’s right-handed hit, led to massive scoring. Oh Ji-hwan chose home instead of slaughter, but as the throwing was biased, Heo Do-hwan stepped on the home, and the atmosphere quickly shifted to KT. With Baek-ho Kang’s goal in the beginning of the 4th inning, KT recorded the 5th league record this season and the 199th all-time starting batter to score. KT starter Bae Jae-seong gave up only 2 hits in 5 innings and threw well without a score, harvesting his 8th win (5 losses) of the season.
