[파이낸셜뉴스] Comedian Lee Jin-ho, who admitted to illegal gambling, was caught with Lee Soo-geun, who lent him money, in some scenes on the air, drawing attention among netizens.

On JTBC’s ‘Knowing Brothers’, which aired on the 2nd, the cast appeared in uniform to express their gratitude for the hard work of uniformed workers.

Lee Jin-ho, who recently left the show due to illegal gambling charges, also attracted attention by appearing in a school uniform.

During the broadcast, while the cast members were talking among themselves, Lee Jin-ho’s face appeared behind Lee Soo-geun in a close-up. In particular, it was known that Jin-ho Lee sold the name of Soo-geun Lee, who appeared in the same program, and borrowed money from people around him, causing damage other than financial.

Previously, Jinho Lee admitted to illegal gambling by posting a long message on his Instagram on October 14th.

He said, “In 2020, by chance, I started playing games on an illegal internet gambling site, and ended up taking on debt that was difficult to bear.” He said, “I am steadily repaying the money every month, and I plan to repay this debt with all my might until I die.” He also said, “I will faithfully undergo the police investigation and pay for the mistakes I made.”

In relation to this, ‘Knowing Bros’ side announced on the same day that Lee Jin-ho had illegally gambled, saying, ‘Lee Jin-ho will be leaving filming starting this week.’ They also said, ‘We plan to edit and broadcast as much of what has already been filmed as possible.’

Jinho Lee is known to have borrowed about 1 billion won from fellow celebrities.

In addition, he reportedly borrowed 100 million won from BTS Jimin, saying, “I need money urgently,” and also borrowed money from Lee Soo-geun, broadcasting station executives, PDs, and writers. It is also known that he borrowed more than 1.3 billion won from a separate loan company.

He appeared at the police on the 22nd of last month and was investigated for illegal gambling and fraud.
