Venezuelan Athletes Shine at International Kenpo Mexico 2024 Championship
The Venezuelan delegation made a strong impression at the International Kenpo Mexico 2024 Championship, with athletes Carlos Ávila, Francoise Pérez, Abraham González, and Zaied Méndez representing the country.
One of the standout performers was 15-year-old Zaied Méndez, who secured two top-of-the-podium finishes in an event that drew over 1,200 athletes from 18 countries.
The trio of Ávila, Pérez, and González also tasted victory, winning the gold medal as a team and adding to the Venezuelan delegation’s medal haul.
In the creative forms discipline, González and Pérez took home silver and bronze medals, respectively, further solidifying Venezuela’s presence in the competition.
