SAN ANTONIO, Chile – DP World San Antonio concluded the 2024-2025 cruise season with the departure of the Sapphire Princess. During ⁣the summer period, the port hosted 21 cruise ships, ⁤welcoming more than 60,000 visitors, including crew members and passengers.

The Princess Cruises ship docked at site C1, operated by the Puerto de San Antonio concessionaire. The ship’s stay exceeded 12 hours, facilitated by Inchcape, allowing preparations for its 18-day journey‍ to Los Angeles, United States.

According to Stephenie⁣ Dewulf, commercial manager of DP World Chile, the season was a success.

It was a very successful season, with 21 cruises and more than 60,000 visits, between crew and passengers, ⁤which reached the historical record of more than 433 thousand visits in 141 ⁤cruises since October 2017 to date in DP World San Antonio. This season we received the Majestic Princess, the largest cruise that has arrived in Chile, and to the luxurious victory of the famous line Cunard.

Dewulf added that San Antonio has become a tourist destination ⁣for international cruises.
