Drake’s Anita Max Wynn Australia Tour Kicks Off on Super Bowl Sunday with Kendrick Lamar Halftime Show

Drake will embark on his “Anita Max Wynn Tour” starting February 9, 2025. This Australian tour will kick off on the same day as Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, where Kendrick Lamar is set to perform the halftime show. After Lamar was named the halftime performer, discussions arose, particularly since Lil Wayne had expressed interest in that spot.

In a recent xQc livestream, Drake discussed the state of rap and confirmed his tour plans. He stated, “I’m here, as you can see, fully intact. Mind, body, and soul.” He also shared his opinions on Kendrick Lamar’s new album and mentioned that rap music feels different nowadays.

Drake has turned down offers to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show multiple times. He has been consistently touring for the past five years. As the highest-streaming artist in rap, he is also preparing a new joint album with PartyNextDoor, expected to release this fall. His latest solo album, For All The Dogs, came out in 2023.
