Dr. Alessandro D’Meyo, President of the International Health Promotion Fund Network, commended the INHPF network for its collaboration and shared learning among members over the past 23 years. He recognized the Thai Health Promotion Institute as a leader and model in health promotion, particularly in addressing issues such as cigarettes, alcohol, and unhealthy food, which are common challenges worldwide.
The meeting serves as a platform for member countries to learn from each other and apply best practices according to their respective contexts, with a focus on promoting health among children and young people. It also aims to strengthen the capacities of various countries in establishing sustainable funds for health promotion, in collaboration with important partner organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Foundation for a Tobacco-Free ASEAN Association (SEATCA).
