Dubai: Dubai becomes world’s first paperless government Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, made the announcement.

He said today marks the beginning of a new phase in Dubai’s journey to digitize life in all its aspects. He added that the Emirate of Dubai has achieved the goals of the Dubai Paperless Strategy launched in 2018 to become the first paperless government in the world.

He said he was proud to see the people fulfilling the aspirations of the country’s leadership as the UAE moves towards a complete transition to a paperless government.
