The ‍language-learning app Duolingo is taking its ⁣marketing strategy ⁤to a new level. Duo,the⁤ brand’s owl mascot,is now a cast ​member on Season 7 of ⁤”Love⁣ Island USA,” streaming on⁣ Peacock. The move is part‍ of a partnership⁣ between Duolingo and the streaming service.

Duo’s appearance​ was teased on social media with posts showing the owl in‌ swimwear.⁤ A “Meet the Islanders” ‍video ‍introduced⁤ Duo, with ​the owl stating, “My ex cheated on me, but now I’m finally ready to step out and find ⁢love.” The⁢ videos were filmed at the⁢ “Love island USA” villa in Fiji.

This‍ isn’t ‌the first collaboration‍ between duolingo and​ Peacock. In 2023,⁤ they created “Love Language,” a⁣ mock reality ‌dating show featuring ⁣people who spoke diffrent ​languages. Thes marketing antics⁣ are part ⁢of Duolingo’s ⁤overall ⁤strategy to ⁤increase brand awareness and engagement.
