Koeman’s Thoughts on the Match
Koeman said, “We were very active and fast, and we often went through a good phase after the break, but decided to play.”
When Bosnia got back into the score and it was 3-2, Koeman saw some doubts in his team. However, he emphasized that mistakes are part of football and that his team should not be too hard on themselves.
Koeman added, “He realized himself that he was in the wrong position. It shouldn’t happen, but mistakes are part of football. I think it’s unfair to make a big issue out of it.”
Upcoming Match Against Germany
The Dutch national team will host its German opponents, who defeated Hungary 5-0, in Amsterdam in its next match in the third group in the first division.
