The high temperatures are here again and there is no time to enjoy the spring vibes.
The area marked in yellow on the map indicates 25 to 30 degrees.
As you can see, most areas of the country will record temperatures above 25 degrees, while Seoul will record 29 degrees and Goyang and Jeongseon will record 30 degrees.
This is the equivalent temperature of July of a typical year.
Tomorrow will be similar to today.
Let’s take a more detailed look at tomorrow’s temperature.
It will start similar to the average for the year, around 13 degrees.
By midday, temperatures will rise to 28 degrees in Seoul and 29 degrees in Chuncheon.
Luckily the humidity isn’t high yet, so we can escape the heat for a while in the shade.
As the spring sun warms up, the concentration of ultraviolet rays across the country will rise to a very “high” level.
When you go out, pack a hat or sunglasses. It is best to carry out activities indoors, when possible, between 12pm and 3pm, when the sunlight is strongest.
Meanwhile, the bad weather will continue throughout the Christmas period.
Rain will begin falling on Jeju Island starting tomorrow evening, and will spread across the country the day after tomorrow.
In particular, between Sunday night and Monday morning, heavy rain of 20 to 30 mm per hour may fall on Jeju Island and the southern coast, and a “heavy rain warning” may be issued and flights may be canceled due to of strong winds.
The rain will continue throughout the holiday and end on Wednesday.
Rain will fall and the daytime heat will be relieved.
