Travelers using Miles & More credit cards can multiply their regular mileage earnings fourfold on transactions outside the European Economic Area under a new promotion running through November 30, 2026, frankfurtflyer.de reported.

The promotion applies to everyday card purchases made in eligible destinations such as Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Dubai, and Asia. Participants must register for the promotion within their credit-card banking app or homepage before making any qualifying transactions, as retroactive point crediting is excluded.

Qualifying Rates for Private and Business Cardholders

Cardholders earn rewards at different rates depending on whether they hold a private or business account, according to frankfurtflyer.de. Private cardholders receive four miles for every two euros spent, while business cardholders earn four miles for every single euro spent outside the European Economic Area.

Registration for the promotion must be completed by 23:59 on November 29, 2026. Once activated, the quadrupled mileage rate applies to all eligible Miles & More credit cards registered to the cardholder.

EEA Spending and Specific Transactions Do Not Qualify

The fourfold mileage promotion is restricted strictly to spending outside the European Economic Area. Transactions made within European Union member states, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, do not qualify for the increased earnings.

Frankfurtflyer.de noted that specific transaction types are excluded from the promotion entirely. These exclusions cover wire transfer services, cash withdrawals at ATMs or bank counters, payout of credit balances, and bank fees such as annual card prices or cash advance charges. Purchases whose sole identifiable purpose is accumulating miles, along with canceled or refunded transactions, also do not earn extra points.

Current Welcome Bonuses for New Cardholders

New applicants who do not yet hold a credit card can access sign-up promotions running concurrently through November 30, 2026. The Miles & More Gold Credit Card carries a monthly fee of 11.50 euros or 138 euros annually, offering a welcome package of 20,000 award miles, 40 points, and four Lufthansa Business Lounge vouchers.

The Business variant of the Gold Credit Card offers a welcome bonus of 50,000 miles. Additional card benefits include protection against mileage expiration, rental car privileges, Marriott Bonvoy Silver status, Wolt+, and Flexiroam services.
