Economic cooperation between Busan and the five Central Asian countries begins in earnest

The five Central Asian countries present each country’s infrastructure, promising export industries and business environment, etc. and measures to strengthen cooperation between companies in the two regions sought

In addition, starting with this forum, it was decided to discover various work level meetings and projects.

This forum is significant as it provided a venue for business opportunities where businessmen from Busan and Central Asia participated to identify areas of mutual interest and to understand major policies and promising industries in each country.

The Busan Economic Promotion Agency and the Five Central Asian Countries Chamber of Commerce and Industry pledged to cooperate with each other so that more companies could participate in the Forum as a representative multilateral forum for economic cooperation between Busan and Central Asia.

In addition, a joint statement was adopted to continue the discussion on harmonizing this meeting and supporting cooperation between companies at all times.

A spokesman for the Busan Economic Promotion Agency said, “Since the reorganization of the global supply chain is actively taking place due to changes in the international situation such as the long Corona 19 and war, cooperation with Central Asia is important. We will do our best to help local businesses enter Central Asia.”
