On April 22, 2024, ECREEE unveiled its new website, designed to provide easy access to information on sustainable energy initiatives in the ECOWAS region. The website aims to promote greater awareness of ECREEE’s commitment to promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency in West Africa.
It features a user-friendly interface, intuitive navigation, up-to-date and mobile-friendly content, to enable users to easily access information about ECREEE, its programs/projects, initiatives, publications, news and events . It offers a multitude of resources aimed at different stakeholders, including policy makers, the private sector, civil society, the academic and scientific world, technical and financial partners and the general public.
The new website is designed to promote the visibility of ECOWAS initiatives in the region in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency. With content available in the three official ECOWAS languages (English, French, Portuguese) and links to the ECOWAS Commission portal and other specialized institutions and agencies, it will serve as an entry point to access the information and keep up to date with ECOWAS interventions in the field of sustainable energy.
