2024/25​ Horse ‍Racing Season Opening Day at Sha Tin Racecourse

Chief ‌Executive Li Ka-chiu presided over the⁢ lion’s eye-dotting and gong-ringing ceremony, and​ a group of jockeys also ⁤appeared ‌to meet‌ horse racing fans.

The “2024/25 Horse Racing Season⁢ Opening Day” was held at Sha Tin Racecourse, marking ⁣the ​start of the new horse racing season with a grand opening ceremony in ⁢the horse ​debut ring before the⁢ first race. Chief Executive Li Ka-chiu served as the officiating guest and​ presided over the lion’s ​eye-dotting and gong-ringing ceremony. A group of jockeys also ⁢appeared to meet horse racing fans.

Edan Lu, a renowned singer, ⁢was ​invited to perform after the ‌last race. He jokingly referred to ​himself as a “lamp god” and advised the audience, “If I ‌give ⁣you a tip, please try not⁣ to buy the horse. It will increase ‌your chances ⁣of winning.”

Edan, ‌a first-time visitor to the racecourse, tried his luck by placing a bet but unfortunately missed. He humorously referred to himself as the‌ “god of lights” and​ revealed that he is about to start working on a new drama, invited by Tse Jun-ho. Edan​ expressed his ⁢admiration⁤ for⁢ Tse’s acting skills⁣ and looked forward to learning from him. ⁢He also mentioned that he will continue to release songs, emphasizing the importance of practice ‌in both acting and singing.

Regarding his‌ rumored⁤ girlfriend Lin Mingzhen, Edan admitted that they had been in contact during her break and expressed‌ concern for her well-being. He⁤ politely declined to comment ‌further, ​asking for space ⁣and allowing‌ the public to continue speculating.

Edan’s performance ⁢and the grand opening ceremony marked a successful start ‍to the 2024/25⁣ horse racing ⁣season at Sha Tin Racecourse.
