Giza,Egypt – Egyptian actor Haitham Mohammed was arrested by Giza security forces on Monday,December 2nd,2024,for drug possession. The arrest comes after a court issued a warrant for Mohammed’s arrest in connection with a previous drug case.
Security personnel received a tip that Mohammed, 36, was hiding in an apartment in the Talbih area. upon arriving at the location, officers apprehended Mohammed and discovered narcotics in his possession during a search of the premises.
This is not Mohammed’s first encounter with the law regarding drug charges. In 2017, he was acquitted by the New Cairo Misdemeanor Court on charges of possessing heroin after being arrested with two others in a car in Badr City.Mohammed is currently in custody,and legal proceedings are expected to follow.
