Paul Awopetu, a ⁣community leader, confirmed the incident. He said a resident‍ was killed by suspected robbers at‍ the olori farmstead in Ogutun. The ⁤incident occurred Thursday.

Awopetu added that a survivor of the robbery reported it to soldiers manning a checkpoint between Ogutun and a neighboring community. The Ekiti State security situation remains tense.
