El Ojo defeated Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano on AAA on FOX on October 3, 2026, at the Domo de la Feria Leon in Leon, Mexico. Commentators Corey Graves and John Bradshaw Layfield called the action as the event built toward Heroes Inmoretales, closing in on the card with a show looking to get back to a regular broadcast well clear of TripleMania.
El Grande Americano Appears as Mega Champion
The evening opened with El Grande Americano appearing for the first time as Mega Champion. Americano addressed making history together and announced he had a big announcement before El Ojo interrupted him. Dorian Roldan then appeared on behalf of his family to speak with Rey Mysterio, stating he wanted to talk to Rey right now. Rey replied that he is the General Manager.
Main Event Action
Rey and Dominik started things off and took their sweet time before locking up, with an early sunset flip giving Rey two before he faceplants Dominik. Back in, Americano got beaten down by the villains, including Omos cranking on the arms, prompting JBL to ask, What’s he going to do? Tap out with his eyebrows?
Rey came back in, and JBL knew what it meant when Rey got momentum going. The double 619 was loaded up, but Americano had to save Rey from a chokeslam, which meant Omos’ arms were tied in the ropes before Dominik got back in. Later in the match, Americano executed a rope walk Blockbuster, while Omos splashed Americano against the post, and some 619s staggered Omos.
Latin American Title Bout
Earlier in the card, Mr. Iguana challenged La Parka for the Latin American Title, with Parka defending. More grappling let Iguana get two off a rollup so Parka flipped away from him. Back up and Iguana got in a running dropkick so Parka kicked him to the floor. Naturally that meant a suicide dive, but Iguana was right back with a running hurricanrana off of the steps. Iguana grabbed a cross armbreaker back inside, which didn’t last long either. They headed outside again where Iguana went for the title, but Parka one upped him by going for Yesca. A crucifix driver got two on Parka, but he caught Iguana on top with a super Spanish Fly. Nino Hamburguesa subsequently ran in to make the save during the post-match beatdown.
