In a social media post, FromSoftware suggested players restart the matchmaking process if they encounter problems. The developer acknowledged the issue and thanked players for their patience.
PlayStation users on PS4 and PS5 experiencing matchmaking issues should check their NAT type, according to a separate post. FromSoftware noted that a NAT type of 3 might interfere with matchmaking on the PlayStation Network. Players can check their NAT type via: Home > Settings > Network > Connection Status > Check Connection Status.

Producer Yasuhiro Kitao commented on the game’s early success, noting that Elden Ring Nightreign sold two million units on its first day. He acknowledged its unique design and challenges, comparing it to “Demon’s Souls” or “Sekiro,” and expressed gratitude to players.
