Elden’s Circle: Shadow of the Golden Tree Update 1.14 Released
The DLC ”Elden’s Circle: Shadow of the Golden Tree” for the souls-based action RPG “Elden’s Circle” developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment released rules update 1.14.
Patch 1.14 has been released for #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree. This update brings bug fixes and balance changes to #ShadowoftheErdtree, including changes to the final fight of the expansion.

Game Balance Adjustments
Bosses
The final boss of the expansion pack “The Shadow of the Golden Tree” has made the following changes:
- Changed the action mode when entering battle
- Changed some attack actions
- Reduced the power of some attacks
- Reduced the energy consumption of some attacks on the player
- Some no longer rely on weapon attacks, narrowing the range of attacks
- Improved the readability of some special attack effects
Human Combat
Equipment and combat skills have been adjusted for balance in human combat.
- Weapons whose weapon type is Backhand Sword (except for the throwing attack of the “Ryuugou Knife”) will have their attack power reduced when facing other players.
- Weapons with the spear type will have their attack power reduced when facing other players and wielding a weapon in each hand.
- The “Pata Sword” weapon will have its attack power reduced when facing other players.
- When the attack of the “Multi-Shot Crossbow” weapon hits another player, the headshot will be adjusted so that no damage is done.
Combat Skills
- Multi-Throw: When facing other players, the power is reduced
- When the attack hits other players, the headshot is adjusted so that there is no damage action
- Frisbee Throw: When other players are hit by the attack, the range of the damage action is reduced.
- Mowing Down: Reduces stamina when activated again

Weapons of the following weapon types increase the movement speed of the first heavy attack:
- Short Sword / Throwing Sword / Straight Sword / Great Sword / Extra Large Sword / Heavy Slashing Sword / Curved Sword / Double-Ended Sword / Knife / Glaive / Axe / Flail / Great Spear (except “Orochi Hunting Spear”) / Halberd / Scythe / Soft Whip (except “Soft Whip Sword”) / Combat Technique / Beast Claw
Combat Skills
- Light: Increases the speed of attack actions.
- Darkness: Increases the speed of attack actions.
- Dynasty Scythe Technique: Reduces energy consumption
- The heavy attack used after activation increases the ability to knock the enemy off balance
- The heavy attack used after activation increases the movement distance of the first heavy attack
Magic and Prayer
Magic
- Leilana’s Twin Moons: Expand the range of your first and second attacks.
- When your first and second attacks hit the enemy, reduce the distance the enemy is knocked back.
Prayer
- Furnace Needle: Increased power
- At very close range, the power and energy consumption caused to the defending enemy increases
- At very close range, it is adjusted to form an attack decision based on the player.
Bug Fixes and Game Performance Improvements
Several bugs have been fixed, including issues with combat, magic, and prayer skills.
