Electric Dreams: Tomoyasu Hotei Rocks the UK and Reunites with Junnosuke Watanabe in Unforgettable Two-Show Spectacle
Renowned guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei (62) recently updated his Instagram with a photo of himself alongside Junnosuke Watanabe (39), the former president of music production company “WACK.”
Hotei shared that he was invited by violinist Andrea Whitt, who has performed with Zucchero as a band member, to attend a concert. He extended the invitation to Junnosuke Watanabe, who is currently studying at a graduate school in the UK.
Hotei expressed his admiration for the concert, stating, “MOBY was even cooler than I imagined, with its solid sequences and powerful live band performance. The 25,000-strong audience was intoxicating.” He also praised Andrea’s performance, mentioning that she had a session with Slash from Guns and Roses and expressed interest in introducing him to Hotei.
Hotei also shared his support for Watanabe, who resigned as president of WACK to pursue his dream of becoming a graduate student in the UK. He encouraged Watanabe, saying, “His eyes were shining as he gazed upon MOBY’s stage. Do your best, dream chasers. We’re rooting for you.”
