The Ministry of Energy denied information that electricity tariffs are supposedly planned to increase from January 1. The department noted that any information about increasing tariffs is currently misinformation.
“The Ministry of Energy officially reports that there are no plans to increase tariffs for the population yet,” the statement says.

“An insidious and powerful enemy is waging war against Ukraine. This confrontation is happening everywhere: on the battlefield, in the economy, in the energy sector, in the information space. Therefore, false information about power outages, the unpreparedness of the energy system for winter, or an increase in tariffs is constantly being spread by Russians in our information space.” , – noted in the Ministry of Energy.
The department emphasized that, according to the adopted resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the electricity tariff will not change at least until May 2024.
