PREMIER CRU, a collection by HARRISONS, a leading British fabric merchant founded in 1863, has been revamped for fall 2024. While Italian fabrics are soft and gentle, British fabrics have a firm and sturdy feel, which is exactly the characteristic of HARRISONS fabrics.

HARRISONS is popular among many customers at EGRET, so I’m sure there are many who have been waiting for the renewal of this representative work. There is also a theory that I was waiting lol.

　
　

PREMIER CRU is made by carefully selecting only the longest raw wool remaining after combing Merino wool (Super100’s) from Victoria, Australia, three times. The body of the fabric is tightly woven with a weight of 330g, and is smooth to the touch and firm, making it the perfect fabric for making suits that are hand-sewn (please try it for yourself!!).

Rather than thinking of a suit that you can wear out in a few years, I would recommend choosing a classic fabric and choosing a suit that you plan to wear for many years.

　
　

As usual, it’s the shopkeeper’s turn to introduce the fabrics that caught his eye. Of course, you want to get the fabric that catches your eye first. The navy glen check with a heathered pattern is also distinctive in that it has overpainting of the same color.

　
　

We think that sharkskin looks best in light grey, as it has a beautiful texture that almost looks silver when hit by light.
