Ella Rubin made her front-row debut at Paris Fashion Week on Monday, attending the Chanel spring presentation alongside celebrity guests Nicole Kidman, Alexa Demie, and Dua Lipa. The 25-year-old actress, who gained widespread attention following the summer release of Amazon Prime’s YA series Sterling Point,
paired her appearance with a relaxed French-girl beauty aesthetic that contrasted sharply with her previous red-carpet appearances.
Rubin’s face featured a skin-first technique using natural tones and featherweight formulas, according to reports from WWD. While her prior Chanel Beauty appearances favored sultry shadow lines and overlined lips, her Monday look featured bronzed lids, light mascara, and a worn lip. Vogue reported that makeup artist Tioseco applied a smudge of the New Smoky eye palette and brown Stylo Yeux liner along Rubin’s upper and lower lash line without precise hard lines.
“We intentionally stayed away from anything too precise or any hard lines,” Tioseco explains of her application technique. “That allowed the makeup to feel relaxed and modern while creating a beautiful balance with the fashion,” Tioseco adds.

Vogue noted that the makeup was designed to complement Rubin’s cropped knit and A-line skirt. The actress expressed enthusiasm for the experience, telling Vogue that she felt lucky to witness the collection and meet creative people in the space.
Espresso Hair Waves Complement Fall Fashion Choices
For her hair, Rubin wore her locks colored in a rich shade of espresso, matching a popular fall trend also worn by Hailey Bieber and Off Campus
breakout Ella Bright. WWD reported that her frizzy curls were styled into shiny waves moving over her shoulders, though representatives for stylists Jacob Rozenberg and DJ Quintero had not confirmed who executed the styling. In Sterling Point,
Rubin wears loose finger waves styled by lead hairstylist Chrystal Lotz.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Rubin told Vogue that she is ready for cooler weather because she loves getting to wear her favorite sweaters.
