Emirates Airlines signs agreements to enhance tourism movement across its network

Emirates Airlines has renewed its strategic cooperation with the Seychelles Tourism Authority and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Office, and has also entered into a new partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Authority, as an embodiment of the carrier’s commitment to enhancing inbound tourism through its network.

Emirates Airlines has renewed its strategic cooperation with the Seychelles Tourism Authority and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Office, and has also entered into a new partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Authority, as an embodiment of the carrier’s commitment to enhancing inbound tourism through its network.

Emirates Airlines confirmed its commitment to supporting Seychelles’ efforts to promote tourism and trade in Seychelles, by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Seychelles Tourism Authority. The MoU was signed by Ahmed Khoury, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations for West Asia and Indian Ocean at Emirates, and Sherine Francis, Chief Secretary of the Seychelles Tourism Authority, in the presence of Nabil Sultan, Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales and International Management at Emirates.

Ahmed Khoury said: “Seychelles is a major leisure destination within our network and we have been serving it since 2005. Our partnership, which aims to promote tourism in the country, dates back to 2013. We remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting the tourism industry. Seychelles is very popular among travelers from major markets in Our network, and we are proud to play a role in driving inbound tourism to the island.”
