People Power Party Leader Han Dong-hoon Meets with National Council of Churches in Korea Chairman Jang Jong-hyun
On the 6th, People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon visited the National Council of Churches in Korea (NCCK) to pay his inauguration greetings and had a chat with Chairman Jang Jong-hyun.
Chairman Jang Jong-hyun congratulated Han Dong-hoon on his inauguration as the leader of the People Power Party and appreciated his visit despite his busy schedule. He emphasized the need to increase the number of medical schools for the future development of the Republic of Korea, citing the current medical crisis as a major concern.
Jang Jong-hyun also expressed his hope that the government, ruling and opposition parties, and civic groups would work together to resolve the medical crisis, quoting the Bible’s phrase “losing is winning.” He urged doctors to maintain their original positions and engage in dialogue with the government for the sake of the people’s lives and future medical development.

In response, Han Dong-hoon acknowledged the significant contributions of the Korean church to the country’s development, particularly in education and social welfare. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with Chairman Jang Jong-hyun and acknowledged the church’s concerns about the medical situation.

Han Dong-hoon proposed forming a bipartisan agreement body for an essential medical system and committed to resolving the medical crisis through this initiative. He also exchanged opinions with Chairman Jang Jong-hyun on major issues, including opposition to the anti-discrimination law, activities related to the low birth rate, and preservation of religious and cultural heritage.
