Online Risks: A Growing Concern
Online molestation, bad animation, inducing and assisting in online fraud, abnormal aesthetics, and internet celebrity behavior imitation are just a few of the many risks that minors face online.
Improving Internet Literacy among Minors
A recent series of short films, titled “Setting Sail to the Sun, Protecting Young People in Action” (Season 2), aims to improve internet literacy among minors. Produced by the National Office against Pornography and Illegal Publications, the Civilization Cultivation Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, the Network Comprehensive Governance Bureau of the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the China Internet Society Federation, the series consists of 5 episodes that analyze and explain typical online problems from the perspective of minors.
The short films provide ways and paths to solve these problems, using storytelling, knowledge, and interesting animation methods that minors enjoy. The content is adapted from real cases, making it relatable and engaging.
