ÉPINAL, France (April 17, 2025) – Get ready to experience cycling in all its forms at Enjoy Vélos Épinal, a three-day event taking place from Friday, May 2, to Sunday, May 4, on teh Petit Champ de Mars.
Test Ride the Latest Bikes
A highlight of Enjoy Vélos Épinal is the prospect to test a wide array of bicycles and accessories. Whether you’re interested in road bikes,mountain bikes,gravel bikes,electric-assist models,or cargo bikes,there will be something for every cyclist. Ten routes, ranging from 1.5 to 6 miles, will be available for test rides.
Bike manufacturers frequently enough use this event to unveil their latest models to the public for the first time.
To participate in the test rides, registration is required at the reception area. A one-day pass costs 7 euros, a two-day pass is 12 euros, and a three-day pass is 15 euros. Participants must provide two forms of identification and a bank card for a security deposit (not debited). Helmets and gloves are required for all test rides.
Test rides are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the event.
Bicycle Exchange

The exchange will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Bicycle drop-off is from 8 a.m., and pick-up is from 4 p.m. A 2-euro fee is required for each bicycle deposited. Commissions on sales will be 10% for bikes sold up to 500 euros and 5% for amounts exceeding that. For example, the commission on a bike sold for 900 euros would be 70 euros (10% of 500 euros plus 5% of 400 euros).

Beyond the test rides and bicycle exchange, Enjoy Vélos Épinal offers a variety of activities and demonstrations. Evening Entertainment
Enjoy Vélos Épinal extends into the evening with cinema and concerts. On Saturday evening, Place des Vosges will host a series of concerts. From 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., young talents sponsored by the Épinal Municipal Youth Council will perform. A local group (to be announced) will take the stage from 9:45 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., followed by a DJ until midnight.
On Thursday evening, May 1, at 8 p.m., the Cinés Palace of Épinal will screen “Vrang,” a film by adventurer Cédric Tassan, who will be in attendance. The film follows Tassan’s journey thru the isolated mountains of the Pamir, Tajikistan.A Q&A session with Tassan will follow the screening.
