Wolverhampton Wanderers, who belong to Hwang Hee-chan’s team in the English Premier League (EPL), are looking for a new manager.
The BBC reported on the 2nd (Korea time) that “Wolverhampton will meet again with manager Julen Lopetegui, who rejected an offer last month.”
Wolverhampton are 19th out of 20 clubs with 2 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses (10 points). Manager Bruno Raj resigned from the Wolverhampton battalion last month due to poor performance. Interim manager Steve Davis leads the team, but they only have 1 win, 1 draw and 3 losses in 5 games.
Lopetegui took over at Sevilla in 2019 after serving as the Spanish national team and Real Madrid manager, and resigned last month. In the 2019-2020 season, he led Sevilla to the top of the UEFA Europa League.
