Eric Bischoff to Appear on WWE NXT
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff will be live at next week’s “WWE NXT.” He will address NXT Champion Trick Williams and Ridge Holland during Tuesday’s show. Before this announcement, reports indicated he may have a video segment. However, it is now clear he plans to be involved with the NXT Championship storyline.
Last week, Holland won the number one contender spot by defeating Andre Chase, effectively ending Chase University. He interrupted Williams during a promo. Williams stated that Holland winning the title would signal the end of the NXT brand. Holland admitted that controversy follows him but said he does not care. Bischoff then appeared via satellite, expressing his desire to see both wrestlers in person next week. This will mark his first WWE appearance since May of last year.
Bischoff has additional wrestling commitments in December. He is set to take “creative control” for a one-off event with MLW next Thursday. He plans to donate his entire paycheck from that event to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports military and first responders affected by the 9/11 attacks.
