The Portuguese team Benfica achieved an unsuspecting victory over its French guest, Olympique Marseille, by two goals to one in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday evening.

Rafa Silva scored the opening goal for Benfica in the 16th minute of the match, before Argentine star Angel Di Maria added the second goal in the 52nd minute.
