According to Shailesh Hazela, CEO & President Director of Stellantis India, the Indian market remains highly promising for European car brands like Citroen. The Basalt X is not currently slated for release in Indonesia.

“Basalt X Range is a courageous step forward, strengthening our portfolio with exclusivity and comfort. These innovations are part of our long-term shift to make mobility more connected, more humane, and more aspirational,” he added.

The Citroen Basalt X features a crossover SUV design with a distinct coupe influence. it blends the robust appearance typical of SUVs with a sleek, sloping rear silhouette.
Citroen has designed the Basalt X to be a compact yet visually striking vehicle. The headlights are seamlessly integrated with the company’s logo, creating a unified front fascia. The grille is prominently designed with a bold and modern aesthetic.
