At the Parc des Princes Stadium in Paris, Barcelona achieved a 3-2 victory, which puts it in an excellent position before the return match in Barcelona in less than a week.
Barcelona advanced with a goal in the first half by its Brazilian star Rafinha, before Paris Saint-Germain returned to the match with two quick goals in the second half by Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé and Portuguese Vitinha.
With Paris Saint-Germain taking control, Barcelona rose back and scored two goals, the first again with Rafinha’s foot, then the third with a header from Danish defender Andreas Christiansen.
With this relatively comfortable result, Barcelona will need only a draw at home, in order to reach the semi-finals of the tournament, for the first time in 5 years.
