Kyiv: The European Union is set to give Ukraine a million rounds of artillery over the next 12 months to deter Russian aggression. The European leaders reached an agreement on this at the summit. Zelensky thanked the leaders for the decision. The European Union intends to address the shortage of weapons that Ukraine is facing in its year-long war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the delay in sending warplanes and missiles was prolonging the war. Zelenskiy said this at a summit attended by foreign ministers and defense ministers of the 27-member European Union.
Zelensky attended the summit via video conference. Zelensky attended the meeting while traveling by train to visit an area of military developments in Ukraine.
