Commerce city Police department officers initially responded to a ⁤report of a protection order violation on E. 108th Avenue. ⁣upon arrival,they learned the woman had been held against her will. The suspect, identified as Jason Pacheco, was located nearby in a vehicle.

Pacheco then fled in the vehicle, leading police ⁣on a pursuit. Authorities pursued ⁣him until his ⁣car⁤ was disabled ⁣on‍ Interstate 25. Pacheco then attempted to flee on foot,but an⁢ Adams County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit apprehended him.
