Kolkata got Australian star bowler Mitchell Starc for the biggest amount in IPL history. So the fans are eager to see the first match of the team. Another highlight is Starker’s return to the IPL after nine years.
Starc had uploaded a video of his return. Moreover, in an interview with Cricket.com.AU, he praised IPL and said that IPL is the best T20 league in the world, not Australia’s Big Bash League.
“I feel like it’s been eight years and I was supposed to come to KKR in 2018. So I’ll be back there for my chance. My memories with RCB between 2014 and 2015 are very few. Now I am excited, that too with a new group of players. With a group of people I haven’t met or played with,’ Starc told cricket.com.au.
“This is definitely a new challenge. But I’m excited. And so it is when it is the best T20 league in the world. I’m looking forward to it. I’m waiting,’ said Stark.
The player has taken 668 wickets for Australia in International Test match, ODI and T-20. Starc has taken 34 wickets from 26 matches in the IPL. In 2018, Kolkata got the star for 9.4 crores, but he could not play.
