ECOWAS Parliament Delegation Meets with Togolese National Assembly President
Sevon-Tépé Adédzé, President of the Togolese National Assembly, received a delegation from the ECOWAS Parliament led by its President, the Honorable Hadja Mémounatou Ibrahima.
The delegation is in Lomé for the 3rd extraordinary session of the year 2024 of the community parliamentary organization.
During the meeting, the Honorable Hadja Mémounatou Ibrahima expressed his deep gratitude to Togo for the excellent organization of the meetings. He welcomed the facilities provided by the Togolese National Assembly and thanked the President of the National Assembly for his enthusiastic support in holding the session.
The President of the ECOWAS Senate also paid tribute to the Head of State, His Excellency Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, for his constant commitment to peace in the West African sub-region.

We also conveyed to the President of the National Assembly the marks of admiration of the ECOWAS Senate for His Excellency Mr. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé for his effective and discreet diplomacy in the sub-region. He was thanked for what he is doing to maintain and promote peace in the sub-region.”

This meeting further strengthens the cooperation between the two parliamentary institutions, reinforcing relations between Togo and the ECOWAS Parliament in promoting regional peace and stability. The work of the extraordinary 3rd session of the year 2024 of the ECOWAS parliament continues until October 4 at the EBID headquarters in Lomé.
