Exclusive Revelation: The Behind-the-Scenes Battle to Delay a Bombshell Announcement Until the President’s Final Days

American experts will visit Romania for checks to be carried out before the country joins the US Visa Waiver Program. Romania could join in the spring of 2025, after more than 30 years of diplomatic efforts.

The Romanian ambassador to the United States, Andrei Muraru, announced that an American assessment mission will visit Bucharest on November 11 to verify that all the criteria are met, an essential step before the official announcement. The first Romanians could travel to the USA without a visa, from March or April 2025.

“Romania abolished visas for American citizens in 1994, and now the time has come for America to abolish visas for Romanians. This was quite a complicated process for all the states that joined the program.”

Andrei Muraru says that only three states in the EU, Romania, Cyprus and Bulgaria, are not part of these programmes. The legislation established by the Americans prevents many states from joining this program, not only because of some technical details, but to have a visa refusal rate of less than 3%, only for business and tourist visas we are talking.

“We have demanded that this be done until the end of the American administration, which is January 20, with the actual entry into this program being made sometime in March or April, and we believe that the United States will do the this announcement by January 20, Muraru said in favor Euronews.

Romanians will only be able to pay a fee of 21 dollars and fill out an online form, and the answer could come within 72 hours. The procedures for authorizing foreign travel could be simplified.

Andrei Muraru explained about buying tickets and the right to stay for 90 days on American soil:
