Experience the Magic of the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale

The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire has returned to the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area in Irwindale, California, for its 2026 season. Running Saturdays and Sundays from April 4 through May 17, 2026, the event serves as an immersive reenactment of the English Renaissance, specifically themed around the 16th-century village of Port Deptford.

The production involves a 20-sided die, known as a D20, to determine the fate of characters on stage, including figures such as Oberon, an Archfey god, and various monsters like a wereboar and Black Pudding.

Other featured performers include Lynx the Sword Swallower, who provides entertainment for the crowds. The event attracts a diverse audience, including people dressed as elves, fairies, gnomes, and wizards.
