Exploring Freedom and Elegance: Classical Violin Sonatas

China News Service, Beijing, April 14 (Reporter Gao Kai) Recently, the “Classical Art Lecture” “Freedom and Elegance – “Classical Violin Sonata” was held at the “Classical Art Lecture” of the National Center for Performing Arts.

“Classical Violin Sonatas” is the recently released 19th album in the “Promenade” series of NCPA Classics, the music label of the National Center for the Performing Arts It contains two masterpieces of violin sonatas by composers Mozart and Beethoven, both of which take part by violinist Gao Pianist Sheng Yuan performed together.

At the sharing meeting, the two musicians gave a detailed interpretation of the composers Mozart and Beethoven, and presented the general style and characteristics of music in the classical period to the audience. Gao Shen pointed out that classical music is famous for its rigorous and harmonious structure, its clear and lively melodies, and its delicate portrayal of emotions.

Later, the two musicians shared the process of recording the album “Classical Violin Sonatas” with the audience, talking about the choice of tracks and some interesting things and challenges during the recording process. Sheng Yuan said they hope to convey the free soul and profound significance of classical music to more people through great performances.

At the event, Gao took part in the collaboration with Shengyuan to perform solo moves from the album. (over)
