Expo 2020: India first among visitors, total over 2 crore visits

Dubai ഇന്ത്യ The most visited expo 2020 in front of the world by Indians. Between the opening day, October 1, 2021, and the closing day, March 31, 2022, a large percentage of people, including residents of the UAE and those from India, attended the Global Festival. The 182-day Expo 2020 received a total of 24,102,967 visits from around the world, officials said.


A total of 176 countries visited

After India, Germans attended the expo the most. Saudi Arabia was third and the UK fourth. Russia, France and the United States are next in line. A total of 176 countries visited the venue. 49% of them have visited more than once.

70% entered with season pass and 22% with one day ticket. 8% used the Multi Day Pass.

The younger generation is energized; The oldest person is 98 years old

The active presence of the youth enlivened the expo venue. Most visitors are under 18 (18%). About 10 lakh children visited the expo as part of the school program.

Only 3% of people over the age of 60 visited. There were 1,07,000 visitors from the determination category. The oldest person to attend the expo was a 98-year-old man.

2,777 world leaders attended the expo. Meanwhile, 200 million people virtually enjoyed the event.

30,000 volunteers; 10 lakh hours service

30,000 volunteers from 135 countries served 10 million hours in 182 days.

One-third of visitors went to at least one thematic pavilion. 95% of those who came to the Art Terra-Sustainability pavilion were inspired to make lifestyle changes. Alif – Mobility Pavilion (91%) and Mission Possible (90%) returned with visitors and rejuvenation. The Vision Pavilion, Women’s Pavilion and The Good Place also entertained visitors.
